Benny Hinn Ministries has reacted to Federal agents raid of its Texas headquarters.
In a statement posted on its Facebook page, the Ministries said it was “cooperating fully with the governmental entities that are reviewing certain operations of the Church” and remained confident in the days ahead.
On Wednesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and postal inspectors raided the headquarters of the Ministries while Hinn was in Paris. About 9.00 am, federal agents were carrying boxes in and out of the ministries headquarters in Grapevine, Texas.
Below is the statement by Benny Hinn Ministries:
“As has been widely reported, Benny Hinn Ministries is cooperating fully with the governmental entities that are reviewing certain operations of the Church.
“The ministry has undergone intense scrutiny over the years, and we remain confident that there will again be a positive and speedy outcome in the days ahead. Pastor Benny appreciates the love, prayers, and support of our beloved partners as we continue to minister the saving and healing Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.”
Hinn was one of the six Tele-evangelists investigated by the Senate Finance Committee in 2007, but all of them were later cleared.
