CAN president Samson Ayokunle: Buhari’s health needs prayers


Christians in Borno State, Nigeria have started a seven-day fasting and prayers for God’s intervention in the health of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) had in a statement by Evangelist Kwamkur Samuel, Director Legal and Public Affairs on Friday enjoined Christians to pray for the speedy recovery of Buhari’s health.

On Monday, Ministers of God and Christians from various denominations in the state gathered at different locations to intercede for the president and the nation.Some churches were the venues of the prayer meeting.

The state CAN Chairman, Bishop Mohammed Naga presided at the prayer meeting attended by clerics and Christians at Bulumkutu Church of Brethren in Nigeria.

Others gathered at other Zones in Maiduguri and other parts of the state.
